Appellation: Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina


- Soil: Shallow, very permeable, gravelly alluvial loam soils.

- Altitude:950 m.a.s.l.

- Climate: Cold winters, mild springs, warm and dry summers, which, combined with a large diurnal temperature range, provide an ideal microclimate for the production of structured red wines with a long and persistent finish.

- Harvest: First and second weeks of April; grapes are hand-picked into 18-kg boxes, clusters are selected by hand.


- Cold maceration: At 5 to 7ºC for 8 days

- Fermentation:Selected yeasts at 24 to 26ºC for 7 days

- Post-fermentation maceration:At 22ºC from 10 to 12 days

-Malolactic fermentation: 100% Natural

- Tasting Notes:Deep ruby red, intense aromas of ripe red fruits and spices combined with sweet pepper. A wine of great personality with complex and mature tannins and delicate acidity, and a long finish that fills the mouth and invites a second glass.
